It's time for bolets - fungi - and the many, many boletaires - mushroom hunters - who come by here looking for the tastiest wild treats. I have absolutely no confidence in my fungal skills, so am happy to leave the selection to the experts. Here are two that I think I have identified, neither edible. The first, seen just before the recent rains, is (I think) Calvatia utriformis:

Sap vostè, Mr. Carnie que els pets de llop són ferpectament comestibles, oi? Yeah! I usually eat farts, THIS KIND OF FARTS (llop's/wolf's ones, of course).
No té gaires virtuts gastronòmiques (és més atractiu l'aroma que despren aquest bolet, que el seu gust en boca) però és prou divertit si se'l menja d'aquesta manera: agafi només els exemplars joves, talli'ls en fines llàmines i fregeixi'ls amb oli ben calent en una paella...
El resultat són unes FUNNY FART WOLF'S CHIPS, ideals per acompanyar alguna carn o com un modest, humil i montsenyenc aperitiu.
